Turbo Lounge Wings.

turbo wings... I previously posted about a Korean bar in North York called Turbo Lounge, but I have to add this post because of the possibly underrated Wings they serve. I never tried their wings until they started running a promotion for $0.45 wings between Monday - Wednesday. They serve deep fried breaded chicken wings and each one are big and have lots of meat. The outside of the wings have that nice crisp crunch, while the inside is still juicy. They also serve their wings with some fries (pretty sure they use Cavendish ones).

As good as the wings are, there are a couple issues with their wings though. They serve it with sauce on the side only (limited variety of sauces: honey garlic, bbq, hot... I always get honey garlic) and depending on the visit, they have been very stingy with the sauce! As you can see in the third picture, they only gave me the little white ramekin half full of honey garlic sauce (definitely not enough for a pound of wings!) and they charged me an additional $0.50 for another small half fill ramekin. If you're going to charge for extra sauce, you gotta fill it up to the top at least!
Turbo is located in North York on the West Side of Yonge, South of Finch. It is right next to the Oh Geul Boh Geul and Owl of Minerva Restaurants.
  • Parking: park on Yonge or the side streets in the back after 9pm for free
  • Subway: Get off at North York Centre, walk north
