Leslie Cafe.

hk style breakfast... For breakfast the other day, I decided to go and grab some Hong Kong Style fusion breakfast food at Leslie Cafe. HK style breakfast is usually just a mix of simple things like eggs, bacon, ham and more chinese type things like noodles with BBQ pork. The best thing about most of these HK style breakfast places is that the breakfast combos which includes a drink are always cheap! When you come here, they have an all day special menu which is what we ordered from. I ordered the BBQ Pork Noodles + Beef and Egg Sandwich, which comes with a drink (ex. hot milk tea, hot lemon tea, coffee, etc). My friend ordered the Bacon/Eggs + BBQ Pork Noodles, which also comes with toast and a drink. The taste of the food is average, definitely not as good as some other places in Scarborough or Markham, but it is quite close to my house and also quite cheap.
Quick Notes: The Combos that we ordered came from the "specials" blue menu and everything on this menu is $4.99 (+tax/tip) and comes with a hot drink (+$0.70 for cold drink). No matter what type of noodles comes with the order, you can ask to switch it to macaroni, rice noodles or vermicelli depending on what you like. From the dinner menu though
, I do not recommend the Portuguese sauce baked rice, as I have ordered it twice and its not that good. This place is definitely not the best, but if you happen to be in the area, it is pretty cheap food. Leslie Cafe is at the North West Corner of Leslie/Finch, inside the plaza, across from the chinese supermarket.

  • The plaza is quite busy on the weekends because of the Chinese supermarket
  • Additional Parking can be found upstairs
